Dale has had his feet planted in Big Sky since 2001, starting at Moonlight Basin and with his wife Sandra in Spanish Peaks since 2014. He semi-retired in 2024 as former CEO and President of a large global Food Manufacturing company based in Texas, and now serves on numerous Public, Private and Non-Profit boards to fill in the time that he spends both in Fredericksburg Texas and Big Sky.

Although their two adult children, Carl and Krista, live with their significant others in Europe, Big Sky remains the family compound for most family gatherings. Golf, Skiing and dinners remain at the top of the priority list to mingle with Spanish Peak friends and family!
