Ellen Kaplan

Ellen is from Sioux City, Iowa where she and her husband Daniel raised their four children. The family began vacationing in Big Sky in 2000, bought a home in the mountain village in 2006 and recently built in SPMC. She now splits her time between Big Sky and southeast Florida. She and Dan enjoy skiing, hiking, mountain biking, the occasional round of golf, and sailing. Most recently they have introduced their two young grandchildren to the beauty of Big Sky.

Now retired, Ellen holds a law degree but spent most of her career leasing and selling commercial real estate. Over the years, she was an active member of several local non-profit organizations in Sioux City, including UnityPoint Health, Siouxland Medical Education Foundation, and Girls, Inc.
