Hannah Waterbury
Executive Director
With a background in outdoor education and youth programming, Hannah has always felt a strong connection to community and a shared sense of place. As the first Executive Director of the Spanish Peaks Community Foundation, she works to support nonprofit partners in meeting the growing needs of the Big Sky community. Hannah has significant experience writing grants, event planning, fundraising, and developing programs. Originally from Maryland, she has her Masters in Education from Johns Hopkins University. Hannah moved to Big Sky in 2018 and is grateful to live and work in a beautiful mountain town.
Our Mission
The Spanish Peaks Community Foundation strategically directs the generous contributions of our members to meet the needs and support the quality of life of those living and working in the Big Sky community.
Foundation Grants
April 1st deadline for May grant consideration. October 1st deadline for November grant consideration. Evaluations for previously awarded grants must be received before new grant proposals will be considered.
