About Spanish Peaks Community Foundation
What began in 2011 as a grassroots effort by Spanish Peaks Members to support former employees through the LIFT program has evolved into the Spanish Peaks Community Foundation (SPCF). The LIFT program made a meaningful impact, helping 47 families navigate the challenges of bankruptcy. Building on that spirit of generosity, SPCF now supports local 501(c)(3) organizations throughout Big Sky. Since its launch in fall 2014, SPCF has awarded over $5.4 Million in grants—28% of which was distributed in 2025 alone. Our impact is a reflection of the incredible generosity of the Spanish Peaks Membership, and supporting the Big Sky community and its workforce remains at the heart of everything we do.

Mike Brown
President
Mike has been a part-time member of the Big Sky Community since 2002, and following a near 40 year career working in the energy business, and has been retired since 2019.

Clarissa is from La Canada, California. She and her husband, Brad, and their children vacationed in Montana for many years and became Founder Members of Spanish Peaks Mountain Club when they purchased a lot in 2004.

Celebrating 30 years of residency in Big Sky, Martha moved from her hometown of Birchrunville, PA in 1988 and has been a full time resident ever since.
