Apply for a Grant

At SPCF, our grant-making is guided by four giving pillars, with a focus on supporting Big Sky’s year-round workforce and building a thriving local community. We invest in Community Services that support wellbeing, stability, and resilience; Education & Youth Programming that expand access to high-quality learning and enrichment opportunities; Conservation & Recreation projects and programs that protect natural resources while and enhance healthy, year-round experiences; and Arts & Culture initiatives that foster connection, creativity, and vibrancy. 

Eligibility & Invitation Process

Organizations that have received SPCF funding in the last two cycles and submitted all required reports are automatically invited to apply.

Organizations that applied but did not receive funding in the past 12 months, or are new to SPCF, must schedule a meeting with the Executive Director before being considered for a grant invitation.

Important Grant Information

Grant applications are open for a one-month period. 

Spring Grant Deadline: April 1st

Fall Grant Deadline: October 1st
